The packaging material for carton based packages is composed of a laminate of paper, polyethylene and, for aseptic packages, aluminium foil. This combination of material varies to suit each separate product category, but in each case the only material to touch the contents of the package is foodgrade polyethylene. The result pf it's technology are such products: Boxes & Corrugated, Chipboard Cartons & Pads, Corrugated Mailers & Specialties etc.

The material may be printed using flexography, rotogravure or offset lithography. Paper makes the packages stiff. Plastic renders them liquid-tight, and aluminium foil blocks out light and oxygen.
